Thankful Thursday-February 9, 2017

I have had a lot of things to be thankful for this week.

Last Friday as a  Balega impi, I was invited to visit the offices here in Durham, North Carolina.  I was chosen last year as an impi and it has been a sheer joy to work with the people at Balega.  Once again this year, I was chosen to be an impi.  To visit the people and place faces with names and thank you was absolutely wonderful!  As I drove to the offices, I was overcome with a sense of gratitude and happiness.  What a delight these wonderful women were on Friday!  I saw their new office spaces and met some other wonderful people at Balega.  We had fun with our Balega socks and I got to see them start to put together the packages for the Impi team!

That package arrived yesterday with so many goodies and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for being a part of this wonderful team once again this year.

My weekend was filled with joy as I hosted a paint party at my new apartment.  My princess posse friends came over and we enjoyed an evening of painting, wine, food and friendship!  I am so very lucky to have these friends in my new home here in North Carolina.  It has made the transition easier for me to know that these ladies are my friends!
